FAQs

❗ Games aren’t loading - what’s going on?

Nine times out of ten, it’s not the game, it’s the browser. PornGames.tv runs everything directly in your browser, so if you’ve got twenty tabs open, YouTube playing in the background, and Chrome hanging on for dear life, stuff is going to break.

First thing I’d try is a quick refresh. You can either refresh the page normally, or use the refresh button underneath the game player, which reloads the game cleanly without you needing to mess about.

If that doesn’t work, there’s also a restart game button under the player. That resets the game itself, which fixes a lot of random loading issues. Failing that, opening the game in a different browser usually does the trick. Closing background tabs helps too, especially if you’re on an older laptop or phone that’s low on memory.

🌐 Are all the games browser-based?

Yep. Every single one. No downloads. No installers. No sketchy EXE files pretending to be a game. You click, it loads, you play. That’s great for convenience and safety, but it also means performance depends on your browser and device. Some games are light and run on anything, others are heavier and need a bit more breathing room, especially the longer or more animated ones.

💾 How do saves actually work?

This one depends on the game.

Some games have proper built-in save systems, others just use your browser’s local storage. If a game lets you export a save file, do it. Seriously. That’s always the safest option and saves you headaches later.

A few things people usually trip over:

🕵️ Incognito or private mode can mess with saves
🧹 Clearing browser data wipes progress
🔄 Updates can break older saves

Different devs do things differently, so saving isn’t universal across every game on the site.

🔄 My save worked before… why is it broken now?

Usually because something changed. Maybe the developer pushed an update. Maybe you switched browsers. Maybe cookies got cleared without you realising. Some games just don’t like change. It’s annoying, I know. Unfortunately, that’s the downside of browser-based games made by lots of different indie devs. There’s no single save system that works for everything.

🖥️ Why am I getting a black screen or missing scenes?

This tends to come down to browser issues, memory limits, or the game itself being a bit temperamental. Some games just behave better on certain browsers or devices. If it keeps happening, use the restart or refresh buttons under the game player first. If that doesn’t fix it, report it using the report a problem button underneath the game player so I can take a look.

⏻ The game just restarted or crashed - why?

Classic memory issue. Too many tabs open, browser running for hours, device under load - eventually something gives. When it does, the game gets kicked. Reloading the page or using the restart button under the game player usually sorts it. If it keeps happening, close other tabs or restart the browser. Not glamorous, but it works.

🖼️ Why are some images blurred or not loading?

Most of the time this is a browser setting thing. Incognito mode is a common culprit. Weak connections or restricted storage can also stop assets loading properly. A refresh, restarting the game, or switching browsers usually fixes it straight away.

⬆️ Do games get updated?

Yeah, when the developer updates them. If you see version numbers, the game’s still in active development. No version number usually means it’s finished. Updates get added as they come in, but keep in mind newer versions don’t always play nicely with old save files.

👤 Who actually makes these games?

Independent developers. I don’t make the games myself - I test them, list them, and make sure they’re playable. Everything here comes from third-party devs doing their own thing.

🎮 I’m looking for a game and it’s not here - why?

Usually it’s one of three things. Either the developer hasn’t released a playable browser version, the game is broken or unfinished, or it just didn’t make the cut. I try to keep the site focused on games that actually work and are worth playing, not every half-baked demo floating around. That said, if there’s something you think really should be here, send it over. If it’s playable and decent, I’ll take a look.

🐞 Found a bug or problem with a game?

If something’s broken, use the report a problem button underneath the game player. Pick the issue you’re facing, fill in the form, and submit it. Reports come straight through to us via SMS notification and email, so we see them instantly and review them the same day. Using the report button helps way more than comments because it gives us the exact game and issue in one place.

🔧 Useful controls under each game

⭐ User Rating – Rate the game based on your experience. Ratings help surface the better games and push the broken or weak ones down.

Behind the scenes, ratings help us spot which games are worth keeping featured and which ones need reviewing. If something’s genuinely broken or low effort, ratings help flag it quickly.

🖥️ Full Screen – Expands the game to full screen so you can play without distractions.

This is especially useful for story driven or heavily animated games where screen space matters. If a game feels cramped, full screen usually makes it a much better experience.

🔄 Restart Game – Restarts the game from the beginning. Useful if something breaks or you want a fresh start.

If a game freezes, bugs out, or just doesn’t load properly the first time, restarting it here is often quicker than refreshing the whole page.

❤️ Favourite – Save the game to your favourites so you can come back to it later.

This is the easiest way to keep track of games you’re enjoying without bookmarking everything or trying to remember the title.

🐞 Report Problem – If something’s broken, this is the fastest way to tell us.

Reports come through directly and are reviewed the same day. Using this button gives us the exact game and issue in one place, which makes fixing or flagging problems much faster than comments alone. Please don’t abuse this feature. Every report is checked manually, and unnecessary reports slow things down and take time away from fixing real issues and improving the site. If your internet connection is down or unstable, this isn’t the right place to report it - yes, we do get those more often than you’d think. Used properly, the report button helps keep PornGames.tv running smoothly for everyone.
